TargaRacing is contesting both the Production Sports Cars & NSW Production Touring Cars events at this years Bathurst Motor Festival. Justin Ruggier & Mark Mackay are partnered in their NC Mazda MX5 once again after their tremendous podium at the Winton 300. Ruggier managed to set a time of 2:40 around the 6.2km circuit – a remarkable feat in a naturally aspirated 2.0 litre race car. Ruggier & Mackay are set for the 1 hour event and look set for a class podium.
Chris Gough & Brian Anderson have proved to be the class of the field in their BMW 130i setting the fastest time in class and racing well ahead of their class rivals in the preliminary events. Gough set a blistering pace with a time of 2:40.20 in the naturally aspirated ‘bimmer’ and the driver pairing also look set for a class podium.
TargaRacing would also like to wish our racing buddies good luck. Anthony Bonanno & Chris Romano will be contesting the Production Sports Cars championship in their BMW M Coupe whilst Chris Reeves & Anthony Soole will take part in the NSW Production Touring Cars event.
