This years Targa High Country has seen all 6 of the www.TargaRacing.com.au entries finish in the top 10.
Spence-Button with their first podium finish in 3rd place driving a BMW 130i.
Dodd – Challoner-Miles finished in 4th place driving a Mazda MX5
McKay – Hailstone finished in 5th while MacKay – Fisher finished in 6th also driving Mazda MX5’s.
Shacklady – Neagle finished in 8th and Sutcliffe – Acwoth in 9th – you guessed it – driving Mazda MX5’s.
The event was notable for the wining car, a Lamborghini Gallardo, crossing the line whilst on fire.

The competitor, Jason White, was encouraged by his navigator to press-on and complete the stage allowing him to win the Targa High Country 2011 event.
Also notable was an innovation by one of the competitors to cool their ECU mid-stage. It’s also in the video above.
A great result for www.targaracing.com.au and we’re now preparing for Targa Wrest Point and ultimately Targa Tasmania 2012.
